Day 5 recap of the 2016 'Dota 2' International
Digital Chaos knocked out two tough teams to make the lower bracket final and Fnatic advanced to the lower bracket semifinals in The International Dota 2 Championships Thursday. That leaves just five teams in the weeklong tournament.
Three more teams will be eliminated from the biggest Dota 2 competition of the year by the end of Friday. Then, the final two teams battle it out Saturday for a piece of a prize pool of more than $ 20 million.
Every minute of the sixth International will be broadcast live on Twitch and in the game Dota 2 customer.

Thursday's results
Day four of The International kicked off with Digital Chaos' match contre TNC Gaming. TNC HAD upset tournament favorite OG two days before the tournament kicked off. Meanwhile, Digital Chaos bested LGD Gaming after-falling to the lower bracket. While TNC arrived with confidence to take the first game, They couldn't stick it out and got knocked out of the tournament with a 2-1 loss.
The best play of That game was When Digital Chaos turned it on around the 45-minute mark. The team grouped up and we advanced TNC, qui Was unaware of the coming onslaught. With a big advantage economy, DC pulled out all the stops with Resolut1on's Ember Spirit Taking down two of TNC's team.

From there, Digital Chaos Moved on to say the TNC stronghold and killed again and again and again up to the TNC Gave Them gg. Then the team Moved on to take the third game without much trouble.
Up next Was the match entre lower bracket two teams, Team Liquid and Fnatic. Fnatic started off strong and never let go, Team Liquid handling through the Entire first game. After Advancing to Liquid's stronghold, Fnatic stayed aggressive and Took out to Liquid Force Them to buyback. Fnatic Was not hurt too bad and managed to beat Liquid again, earning em Eventually the gg.

The tables turned In the second game as Team Liquid Dominated Fnatic all the way to a 25-6 lead. At the 22-minute mark, Fnatic grouped up and Took Team Liquid in a team fight, losing one to Their three. From there, Fnatic couldn't be stopped, wiping out Team Liquid multiple times to get the economy take advantage and the match 2-0.

To cap off the night, Digital Chaos cam back to the floor to take on the dominant wildcard EHOME. EHOME Performed well in the group stages and first half of the main event weekend, aim Digital Chaos Was not going to Give Them a Chance. They cam out aggressive, Taking out a three tier tower in just under 23 minutes. In Their second assault on EHOME's stronghold, DC Slowed the defenders to a crawl and Saksa's Elder Titan laid down a perfect earth splitter, getting a double-kill and Weakening third hero has to be taken out Swiftly.

DC Took The first game in just over 30 minutes. And Then They Came out strong again, drawing first blood contre EHOME's Old Eleven in just 13 seconds And Then killing Their courier has mere 20 seconds later. The teams traded kills up to 20 minutes for DC ramped it up, picking off EHOME and one winning team fights after-Reviews another. Finally, They won Reviews another quick game to advance with a 2-0 win.
Upcoming matches
With two days left in The International, only four REMAIN matches. Friday's first match entre MVP Phoenix and Fnatic will determine the winner of the lower bracket. The loser will go home and the winner will advance to face the loser of the upper bracket final for one last chance at getting into the grand final.
The second match is the upper bracket final entre Wings Gaming and the Defending champions Evil Geniuses. The winning team will go on to the grand final and the loser will stick around for the last match of the night Against the winner of the lower bracket.
Friday's matches will all be best-of-three while the grand final match will be best-of-five. Broadcasts start at 10 a.m. PT every day.
